The Children’s Liturgy Group welcomes children from approximately 4-9 years on Sunday mornings at 9.15 am Mass in the Parish Rooms. The children hear a simplified Gospel story, discuss points and then complete a related activity. The children return at the offertory, and bring their work to share with the congregation.
Activity bags are available at the back of church for small children during Mass.

Livesimply is an initiative launched by the Catholic relief agency, CAFOD, to encourage lifestyles that are simple, sustainable and that show support for the poor.
Following the release of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ message to care for creation, Catholics have been reflecting on what it means for our lives. Our parish is no exception. We have been discussing the ways in which we might respond to the papal imperative at local level.
Our group is run jointly between the two parishes and we meet every six weeks or so in Monmouth and Ross alternately. There are currently about 24 members, but all are welcome to Livesimply meetings.

The 100 Club is a prize draw fund consisting of up to 100 members. Each number is sold for £12 per year, giving a total annual fund of £1,200. This is divided equally between the church and prize money.
During the year there are four prize draws held after Mass on the first Sunday in February, May, September and December. At each draw there are three cash prizes. The winner receives £100 and the 2 runners up receive £25 each. £150 goes to church funds.

This is an acronym which stands for Come and Meet Each Other.
Our group of about 20 regular attendees was formed some years ago and met monthly to hear guest speakers on various relevant topics, invited both from within the parish and from external organisations. It was created to welcome and integrate new parishioners and provide a vehicle for strengthening relationships within the parish. Over time, new topics and new guest speakers became harder to find, and this group is now no longer active.

Role of Finance Committee
Finance Committee is required by Canon Law to advise the Parish Priest on all financial matters and the material assets of the parish. The scope of interest includes:
Development, repair and maintenance funds;
Third party collections;
Accounting for internal and external fundraising;
Asset management and Insurance;
Procedures, controls, legislation and audit;
Relevant communication with parishioners, the Archdiocese and others.
Discharging its Responsibilities
Finance Committee meets regularly and works with other groups such as the Social and Fundraising Committee as well as individuals within and outside the parish.
Finance Committee reviews parish accounts on a quarterly basis.
Annual returns are made to the Archdiocese and these are audited at the discretion of the Archdiocese.
Communication regarding the accounts is made to the parish annually in a Finance Bulletin.
Additional communications are made in the parish Newsletter and website as necessary.
